Small Business Assistance

Partnerships

The Greenwood-Leflore-Carroll Economic Development Foundation understands how important small businesses are to the local economy. In the United States small businesses create 75% of the net new jobs in our economy. Recently the Foundation partnered with Southeast Missouri State University’s Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Delta Regional Authority, and USDA / Rural Development to bring Operation JumpStart to our community.

The Foundation also partners with the Mississippi Development Authority's Entrepreneur Center to bring technical assistance to our small business community as well as the Minority Business Division to enhance the ability of our women and minority businesses to do business with industry in the public and private sectors.
